Hello Internet!

My name is Sarah and I'm the founder of STAINS ØF SUNSHINE.

I’m extremely excited to finally share with the world this project that I’ve been working on for a while now. The purpose of this blog is to share with you my journey as I move to Madrid, Spain for several months to study abroad. I will share with you travel and lifestyle articles regarding destinations, tips, and my overall adventure as I experience new things abroad.

I will be leaving for Madrid in just just over a week. In the meantime, I will share with you my preparation for this grand experience and other lifestyle articles.

Now I know a lot of you (probably about 100%) are wondering about the meaning behind the name of this website. I have about 1,452,942 freckles on my body. Freckles in french is 'taches de rousseur' which translated literally would give you 'stains of redhead-ness' which doesn't make a lot of sense quite frankly. My mother would always tell me that my freckles were kisses from the sun, so I decided to incorporate this into the name of my blog. And there you have it: STAINS ØF SUNSHINE
