My Top 5 Destinations

Hey guys,

I've been really busy with summer school lately.. I have about 13 days left so project deadlines and exams are rolling in and I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed haha! You may have noticed that no article went up on Wednesday as I am changing up the schedule a little. From now on, travel articles will go up every Friday, while lifestyle/food/fashion articles will go up every second Wednesday.

For today, I've prepared for you (sounds like I made you an exquisite meal or something) a list of my top five destinations I visited while studying abroad. I've joined the links to the related article so you can go give them a read, check out the pics and give them a little love!

1. Let's start of the list with my all time favourite city... ROME.

If you've read the article already, you know that Rome is my favourite place in the world. I've been to Rome twice now and have loved it each time. It brings back a lot of good, happy memories. My trip to Italy, back in 2009, was my first trip to Europe. I love the food, the sights, the vibe, and did I mention food already?

2. Second on my list is a very unique place, MOROCCO.

Everyone always asks me what my favourite place was and it is definitely one of the hardest questions to answer when you've just come back from visiting 16 countries and 41 cities! BUT, Morocco always rises to the top because it is so different from anything I've ever seen. Given also that Morocco isn't a country you visit alone when you are a young woman, I didn't think I would get to visit Morocco this time around, but when the opportunity came up I WAS ECSTATIC :)

3. This is the only place I went alone. Me, myself and I loved BARCELONA.

I actually enjoyed being alone in a new city. I didn't particularly meet anyone actually, I just really enjoyed the alone time and doing everything and anything I wanted! You just to me mindful that you are travelling alone, and sometimes, as a young woman, this can seem like a bad idea, but as long as you are careful, you'll be fine! Just don't hesitate to do the things that make you feel safer :)

4. No, I didn't take any pills there, but I still loved IBIZA.

Yeah, my jokes are pretty bad today haha. We did, however, sing that song all weekend! Everyone says the partying there is sick, but I have something to say about the sunsets. I mean, sunsets, beaches, sunshine, friends? Can you ask for more?

5. The south of France is gorgeous and I fell in love with BIARRITZ.

This is a place where people spend their summer holidays year after year just because. There's beaches, surfing, crepes... Even Napoleon III stayed here in his summers, can you blame him? Personally, I loved the beautiful white buildings by the beach. It just struck me, it's hard to explain. You have to see it to believe it.

More cities would have made the cut, however, you'll have to wait until the articles are posted ;)

Coming up... PARIS, LONDON, DUBLIN!!

XOXX
