Hello there,
After almost a year of planning, I have finally arrived in Madrid, Spain. Where I will be living for the next 4 months. After which I will travel Europe for 22 days. As my taxi drove into the city, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the architecture and the magnificence of it all.
After a 7h flight to Paris and a 2h flight to Madrid, I arrived at my apartment at roughly 10am. Spent the day exploring the city with a friend and walked over 12km! Needless to say I'll be wearing comfortable shoes for the next couple of days.
Below are a few photos taken on my first day here in Madrid. The last one was taken at Palacio de Cristal, a gorgeous must-see attraction. After that, we went to a rooftop bar for sangrias and walked back to the apartment.
I am super excited about the few months ahead, I can't wait to find out what will be next on my agenda!
