How To Get Shiny, Healthy Hair

Hey guys,

Today I want to share with you some of my musts when it comes to my hair. You have all been very (very) kind in liking, commenting and showing love to my hair. So I thought I would share with you my routine to keep my hair long and healthy.

I will be talking about three products today: KnotsOut Brush by Hair Treats, Ultimate Oil by Kerastraight and the Volumizer by Glam Palm. All of which I am obsessed with!

Enjoy! Let me know if you try any of these products out ;)

XOXX

1. Get those knots out!

When I get out of the shower, my hair is always in tangles. Usually I would use a regular brush and rip more than few hairs out along the way, but now I use my Knots Out Brush and it is absolutely magical. I thought it would be a gimmick to get us to buy it, but IT ACTUALLY WORKS. After brushing out my hair, there are only a few hairs left in the brush.

All you have to do is brush out your hair like you usually would, no special technique, just brush. The reason it works so well is because of the way the bristles have been designed to only catch on the hairs in the way, which in turn rips out less hairs.

Below is the product itself, the magic brush, and I have also provided a before and after shot.

2. Moisturize

Once all the knots have been taken out of your hair, you can now proceed to the next step: moisturizing!! This step is especially important this time of year and that is why I use this oil after every wash. I use one pump of oil for half my head of hair and massage it in to the hair, avoiding the roots.

The Ultimate Oil works wonders on hair, for real! It contains 9 different oils, to moisturize properly. I won't bore you with the scientific reasoning behind why it works, but I can tell you that it does a great job of not only moisturizing, but making your hair look more lively and feel lighter. Once you have applied the oil and let it sit in for a few minutes, you can blow dry your hair. This will help give it more volume :)

3. Finish it up with curls

Now comes the time to curl! I now use my new volumizer iron from Glam Palm, which you can use for both straightening and curling, but I also enjoy using a wand for curling.

Although I enjoy curling my hair and giving it a more finished look, I try to space out my iron sessions to do less damage on my hair altogether. :)
