Back home, weekend means: you have two days to get all your shit together and catch up on sleep. Usually you either end up doing absolutely nothing (by that I mean Netflix, food, and sleep) or you work like a dog trying to catch up.
Here, weekend means: GTFO and travel. So I booked some day trips with friends, to visit some cities in Spain and leave beautiful Madrid for the weekend.
In two days, we visited El Escorial, Pedraza, Segovia, Chinchéon, The Enchanted City and Cuenca. And yes, we totally had time to visit it all.
Right about I should probably explain this article's title. You know about 'insides' right? Well, there were some stories going around about monks, monkeys and well... you had to be there ;) Oh, and the one-horned bull? A sculpture of a bull had been vandalized and therefore only had one horn left. Not cool man, not cool.
